I miss taking photos.

I went shopping up Brick Lane the other day after a commiseratory/celebratory lunch and we walked the urban way back. there was some of the most wonderful grafitti and urban decay; I think I’ll go back with my camera tomorrow and capture some of it. Since I moved to dreary London I haven’t been too inspired to take photos - it used to be all pretty landscapes and fiercely beautiful friends - but that walk really highlighted for me how fascinating urbanism can be.

  2. woluf said: visit Highgate cemetery and/or Hampstead Heath: not urban, but so beautiful. I’ve not been to the former (yet!), but HH is lovely. Walking around Central and Covent Garden is just wonderful too, especially in bright sun. Also go to café 1001 :)
