Copper & Carnelian. For a project on dual functionality - it can be worn and dispenses perfume via the rollerball (the model doesn’t work with liquids unfortunately, but it does roll). Once again I’ve rediscovered how much I love metalsmithing, can’t wait for a lifetime of making interesting objects like this.
Hello Tumblr, here’s me reintroducing myself because I’ve been rather absent in heart lately.
I’m Charlotte, 18, and I’ve been on tumblr since Sept 2009. I’m at Central Saint Martins on an art foundation degree but hopefully next year I’ll be studying Jewellery Design there and in time I’m going to be some sort of jewellery+web designer maestro and be well off enough to buy as much Sony electronics as I so wish. I am so passionate about how far the world of web design extends and couldn’t stop making websites if I tried. I’m a hedonist, a hoarder, a paranoid, an obsessive, a mathematician and a huge dork. I keep a lot of notebooks/journals and would struggle to live without post-it notes (and earl grey tea). Amazon’s my favourite website. I value honesty. I over-analyse a lot. I like my hair. Writing all this is making me feel arrogant so it’ll end after one more sentence. This tumblr is for me to record beautiful things and preciosity will be its downfall.
